CCSA Field Day - Saturday September 20thOur annual field day is fast approaching—September 20th and we have made a few changes this year that we wanted to share with our members. The Field Day will be even more special this year with the addition of a pork barbeque, running from 11 a.m. until approximately 7 p.m. We’ll offer great entertainment starting at 4 p.m., so please plan on attending! In addition to all our great Field Day events for the kids — Fishing Derby 9a.m. - 11 a.m., Archery Instruction, Air Gun Inspection, Helicopter Drop, Tracker Boat & ATV display, Water Balloon Catapult, Pie Plate Shoot, Trap Shooting Competition, and Children’s ID program — we’ll be adding some new events: The Fireman’s Competition and a Wine Tasting Program in the club house. We’ll also be offering a great raffle this year with $2,500 in prizes! $10 BBQ Tickets and $10 raffle tickets in this newsletter. Take-out BBQ will also be available. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2008 Haunted Halloween Hayride - October 17, 18, 24, & 25UPDATE - There is an organization meeting on Septerber 14th at 1p.m. at the lower clubhouse. Please come and sign up for your specialty! Even though summer has just begun, its time to begin thinking about this year’s hayride. It is scheduled for October 17th & 18th and 24th & 25th. The rides will run from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Bob Catalfano is chairing the hayride this year. Please feel free to contact him with ideas, volunteering, or other items you may have.
